We were in the area road tripping to see family and stopped in here on a Friday night for dinner. We got seated right away and the chips came out hot and fresh. The salsa was delicious. The Cheese dip was the go to for appetizer purpose...it was a hit at the table!! I was super excited to read the grilled chicken and cheese dip with grilled onions special! It came with tortillas and rice and beans. It was great! Needless to say I needed a Togo box. The Margarita I was craving was also on special and the first one went down so smooth. I was brave enough to order another but this time I wanted a Mango one. The server brought it out and I stirred it with excitement... I then noticed something swirling in the drink. I cut my hair super short...so I KNEW it wasn't mine. I got the servers attention and he removed the drink from my tab. That was the only knock from 5 stars to 4

Food was typical tex-mex. Service was poor. Waiter didn't come around for 20 mins to ask bout refills or if we needed anything else or even how the food was. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Returning to DFW from Tulsa, we stopped here for Dinner. We came in just before the dinner rush and were seated and able to order quickly. It may have been that we were in the far corner and not locals, but that's about when the service stopped as the locals poured in for dinner. I'm guessing they were short staffed for reasons not their making. When the food finally arrived it was okay, but only in a tex-mex Sort of way. Not authentic Mexican, rather contrived usmex. Still, okay. The owner realized that things were not as they should have been and knocked a bunch of stuff off the bill, and that's why they get the four star. Had he not, this would be a 2 or 3 star rating - and this is something many small biz owners should learn. If you can't do your best because of whatever, make it right at the end. That way, you get repeat business and happy customers giving good and honest reviews. I suspect they will do fine as soon as they work some things out.
