And while, yes, they did give me my cat back, His wife also SHOVED me out the door and slammed it in my face, they refused to fork over the paperwork for the spay/rabies vaccination. They told me that I didn't pay for the service and I wasn't entitled to the paperwork. THAT'S WHAT THE ADOPTION FEE WAS FOR!!!!!!!!

Officially the WORST vet clinic I have ever dealt with.

Dr. Jenkins wife pulls me outside while he's talking to his receptionist, and she proceeds to tell me that their daughter has cancer and they're going through a hard time. I'm sorry, I had to stop her. I told her "I'm sorry, that has nothing to do with my cat. Don't exploit a family illness to get sympathy out of me just to get me to pay $16. I mean seriously, what does that have to do with my cat and a flea treatment? Wasn't trying to sound heartless, but they aren't going to play me.

They make you sign a paper stating that if any fleas are found, they will charge you $16 for a flea treatment. I didn't refuse to sign because I knew she didn't have fleas.

Went in today to have my kitten spayed. I adopted her from our local animal shelter and this is the Vet they go through for the spay/rabies vaccination.

I've been dealing with this Vet office for 8 years, they're the only ones I ever used. But not anymore. They just lost a customer. And, if you don't want them making up false treatments to get money out of you, I would avoid them.

They tried telling me that I could not have my kitten back until I paid the bill. I argued it. Maybe she got the fleas there because she was 100% clean when I brought her in (did a thorough check right in front of the receptionist and there wasn't a thing. If there were I would have said something).

Well, after telling me that they're going to keep my kitten until I pay, I gave her a firm look and said "You can't do that and you know it". Right after I said that Dr. Jenkins called her to the exam room where he was examining a dog (not treated for fleas when he came through the door) and told her to give me my cat back but I cannot have any paperwork on her or the rabies tag.

Go to pick up my kitten and they proceed to show me a bill of $16 for a flea treatment. I refused to pay it because my kitten did NOT have fleas when I took her in there.

Before I even took my kitten in, I had thoroughly cleaned her and had taken care of any and all fleas.

Was treated like trash!

Absolutely love this vet clinic! Dr. Jenkins and his wife, Pam, are respected members of the community and a good christian couple. They are great with my two German Shepherds and calico cat. I've never had any problems with them or their staff. One of my Shepherds tends to have an attitude when she meets new people, but Dr. Jenkins and his staff were patient with her and treated her well. She now enjoys the visits. They are very well liked for what they do and I would recommend them every time!

The receptionist told me that there's no way she got them there because they treat any and all animals that come through the front door. Umm, for starters, fleas hitchhike on your pants/shoes and can jump off when you walk through the door, a flea infested dog that walks through the front door can drop a few, so don't sit there and tell me that your clinic is 100% free of fleas. It's impossible.

They were trying to SNAKE money out of me, and they didn't even give her any flea drops! Anytime you give an animal a flea treatment, it leaves that nasty oil on their fur/skin, but my cat has none (and yes, they use the drops, states so on the paper you sign). My cats fur is clean as a whistle.

So, not only did they LIE to me, try to STEAL from me for a treatment that was not done, but they also treated me like a criminal in their office and like I'm a horrible person. All over $16. Worst experience I have ever had with a business.
